This Metroplex New & Pre-Owned Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty begins on the vehicle purchase date and from the mileage on the odometer at the time of sale. This WARRANTY shall end when you no longer own the vehicle.
Cylinder block and cylinder head(s), all internal lubricated parts including pistons, piston rings, wrist pins, connecting rods, rod and main bearings, crankshaft, camshaft(s) and bearings, followers, lifters, pushrods, rocker arms, rocker shafts, and bushings, balance shafts, valves, valve seats, valve guides, valve springs and retainers, oil pump, oil pump pick up, oil pump drive and water pump.
Automatic Transmission Equipped: Transmission Case and all internal lubricated parts including oil pump, valve body, torque converter, governor, clutches, bushings, shafts, gear sets, bearings, vacuum modulator, dip stick and tube. Manual Transmission Equipped: Transmission case and all internal lubricated parts including shafts, bushings, bearings, gear sets, synchronizers and shift forks. Transfer Case Equipped: The Transfer Case housing and all internal lubricated parts.
Front Wheel Drive Equipped: Drive axle housing and all internal lubricated components including carrier case, gear sets, chain and sprockets, bearings, bushings, axle shafts, constant velocity joints and double offset joints (except if boot was damaged or missing). Rear Wheel Drive Equipped: Drive axle case and all internal lubricated parts including carrier, ring and pinion gears, gear sets, bearings, bushings, limited slip clutch pack, axle shafts, drive shaft(s), drive shaft support and u-joints. Four Wheel Drive/All Wheel Drive Equipped: All components listed under Front Wheel Drive Equipped and Rear Wheel Drive Equipped are covered.
If your vehicle breaks down, due to a covered component, you will be reimbursed for reasonable towing charges. The vehicle will be towed back to the selling dealership if within 50 miles, otherwise, to an ASE Certified repair facility in the U.S. or Canada.
Our Metroplex Pre-Owned Vehicles must meet strict requirements in regards to their condition. Every Metroplex Pre-Owned vehicle receives a comprehensive 150-point inspection, performed by an ASE Certified and factory trained service technician.
When buying a used car, one of the first questions you might ask yourself is, “Are there any problems with the car?” CARFAX® vehicle history reports include information on accidents, odometer rollback, lemon vehicles, flood damage, branded titles and much more.
1. Take immediate action to prevent further damage to the vehicle.
2. Return the vehicle to us before the warranty term expires. If you are more than 50 miles from us, you may take the vehicle to the nearest available licensed repair facility. Call or have the repair facility call the administrator at 1-800-579-2233 to obtain prior authorization for repairs. Provide a copy of this warranty or the warranty number, if possible.
3. You will be required to authorize disassembly of the vehicle if disassembly is necessary to diagnose the cause and cost of the reported mechanical breakdown. You will be responsible for any disassembly charges if the associated repairs are not covered repairs.
4. If requested, provide us or the authorized repair facility with copies of the vehicle’s maintenance records.
5. All repairs must be authorized by the administrator prior to beginning any repairs covered by this warranty.
You have the responsibility to properly maintain the vehicle as recommended by the manufacturer, to reasonably protect the vehicle from further damage when one or more parts fail, to maintain records of routine vehicle maintenance performed by you or others, to follow the procedures for reporting a claim for benefits as described in this warranty, and to cooperate fully with our reasonable requests to examine vehicle maintenance records, inspect the vehicle, or establish ownership of the vehicle in the event you report a claim for benefits. Maintenance records generally include a detailed log of maintenance you perform and receipts for purchase of services provided by others and parts and supplies used by you or others in performing maintenance services. You must obtain preauthorization for any repairs made to the vehicle by a repair facility other than ours.
